JJK 259 We open with Yuji desperately trying to master a new skill under Choso’s guidance, but things take a devastating turn. In the last chapter, we saw Yuji countering Sukuna’s Domain Expansion using his simple domain. However, at the end of the JJK 258, we saw Sukuna charging up the Fuga (Flame Arrow Attack).
What happened in JJK 259?
Choso, being a total bro, tries explaining everything about his technique…but let’s face it, he’s not the best teacher. Luckily, Kamo steps in with clear explanations to help Yuji get the hang of it.
His goal? Mastering blood manipulation to stop himself from bleeding out and maybe even learn to stitch wounds. It’s NOT about flashy attacks…survival is key! It turns out Yuji’s second swap was with YUTA! Now that’s a potential game-changer.
Sukuna Unleashes Hell
Back to the main fight, We saw in the last chapter that Sukuna cracked Yuji’s Simple domain and then Sukuna starts attacking relentlessly, this results in Yuji losing his left foot and then Sukuna fires a Fuga (Fire Arrow).
Choso Sacrificed Himself To Protect Yuji
Just when it seems hopeless, Choso leaps in front of Yuji, sacrificing himself to create a protective blood barrier. It’s a truly heartbreaking moment.
In their imaginary soul world, Choso apologizes for leaving Yuji alone – the true “big brother” protecting his younger sibling to the very end. Choso also compliments that Yuji learned RCT really fast and little brothers are meant to surpass big brothers.
Todo to the Rescue!
As the flames consume everything, Yuji’s resolve starts to crumble. Then, in bursts Aoi Todo! He and Mei Mei had a backup plan to help with boogie-woogie, even if it was a huge risk. Todo’s gotta push his technique’s limits, and honestly, even he’s not sure it’ll work.
In Shibuya Arc, Aoi Todo sacrificed his hand along with his Cursed Technique Boogie Woogie in his fight against Mahito. Because of Aoi Todo, Yuji was able to defeat Mahito and avenge Nanami and Nobara.
Todo was originally suppose to teleport people within Sukuna’s Domain. However, he joined the fight for Yuji.
Yuji realizes a new weakness of Sukuna. It seems using that domain attack leaves him vulnerable. Just like when they took down Mahito, the bro-duo of Todo and Yuji are ready to take down Sukuna. The chapter ends with Narattor saying:
THE PATH TO VICTORY, LINKED BY THE BROTHERS!
Final Words
Choso’s sacrifice hit me harder than I expected. It shows just how far their brotherly bond has come. And Todo showing up again proves he’s the best kind of chaotic friend. I can’t wait to see how they try and beat Sukuna now!
