Find Us on Socials

Void Shards in The First Descendant are rewards you earn by completing Void Fragment missions.

To get these shards, you need to destroy Void Fragments. You can find void fragments by completing void missions which are indicated by an orange symbol on the map.

Each type of Void Fragment requires a specific elemental skill to destroy, like fire, ice, or electricity. So you can only destroy the Void Fragment using the descendant that has that specific skill. I will explain in detail how to get void shards.

There are many types of Void Shards including:

  • Inorganic Void Shards.
  • Monomer Void Shards.
  • Polymer Void Shards.
  • Organic Void Shards.

How To Get Void Shard From Void Fragment

As I explained earlier, first you need to open the map and look for the orange symbol indicating the Void Mission.

When you hover on it, it will show you which skill it requires. So you need to select the descendant that possesses that specific skill.

For example, if the mission requires the skill of electricity, you can simply use Bunny to complete the mission.

Now that you have selected the descendant find the void fragment, and attack it a few times with any electrical skill. The fragment will become immune and a wave of enemies will show up.

Once you defeat the enemies and the fragment, you will receive the shard.

Once you have enough Void Shards, you can use them to fuel Void Fusion Reactors, which will give you new missions with potential rewards.

I hope my guide was helpful for you, in case you are having any issues finding or destroying Void Fragments, let me know in the comments below. While you are at it check out my other guides as well:
