The first three episodes were just released on Prime and I just binge-watched them all. The Boys Season 4 Episode 4 is scheduled to release on 20th June 2024. The title of the episode is Wisdom of the Ages. From this point onwards, every episode will be released weekly as confirmed by Prime, and Season 5 is going to conclude the series as well.

Quick Recap
Season 4 started where the previous season left off, The Boys trying to off Victoria Neuman who apparently is trying to be the next president of the United States. She fooled everyone and turns out to be the stepdaughter of Stan Edgar and a supe who was blowing everyone’s brains out (quite literally.)
The Boys came up with an acid that they thought would work on Victoria Neuman. However, her daughter finds out that Frenchie and Kimiko are up to something, she kills the other agents and tries to off Frenchie and Kimiko.
Victoria then finds out and faces Hughie. He thought he was going to get murdered by Victoria. However, Victoria had no intentions of murdering The Boys.
Hughie then throws the acid on her face but it doesn’t work because turns out she is invulnerable too. Billy then shoots her in the head and she survives that too. She then criticizes Billy that they are getting even worse at their job.
Homelander Midlife Existential Crises
Even with Vought under his control, homelander is still not happy and he can’t figure out why. Fast forward, he invites Sister Sage to the seven as she is the smartest person on the planet and she is not scared of Homelander at all. He wanted a teammate like her who could challenge his authority.
At Vought whatever he said, everyone agreed nobody challenged him ever and this was discomforting for him. He is growing old and life is getting boring for him now. Homelander also got the verdict that he is not guilty for murdering the bottle thrower in Season 3.
Bully Butcher and Ryan
Homelander wants Ryan to turn out like him and he wants Ryan to think that humans are just toys to play around with. However, Bully wants him far away from Homelander since Ryan is the last remaining memory of Becca for Butcher and he promised her that he would keep him safe.
Grace made MM the leader of The Boys and Butcher was sidelined. Butcher got sick because of taking Temp V and has got only 6 months.
In Episode 3, Butcher was going to drug Ryan to protect him from Homelander but after talking with Ryan he tossed those drugged biscuits away.
Joe Kessler then tells Butcher that they don’t have enough time and they have to turn Ryan against his father and we need to train him to fight Homelander to protect America. However, Butcher is not ready for this.
Final Words
The Boys Season 4 seems a bit rushed and what I expected was more violence but there is not much in the first three episodes. I don’t know about you guys but Season 4 had a bit boring start. However, can’t judge the entire season on the basis of 3 episodes. Episode 4 will air on 20th June.
