Genshin Impact 4.6 is here with alot of new quests and puzzles. In the “Underwater Nocturne” quest, you’ll be helping a mysterious cat retrieve a “Blank Score” from the hidden Faded Castle. It sounds mysterious, but the tricky part is actually a musical puzzle involving these things called Autoharmonic Reed Pipes. Here’s how to crack the melody and complete the quest:

The Soundboard Slide

The key to getting your Blank Score is playing these pipes correctly. When you interact with the pipes, you’ll enter a special mode called “The Might of the Ancient Symphony.” It basically lets you move a soundboard along the pipe. Press the “T” key to go into symphony mode.

Once you’re switched into music mode, check the wall behind the pipe – there’s a musical note written there. That’s the note you have to hit! Hold your Elemental Skill key and move that soundboard until it lines up perfectly with the note on the wall.

Two Pipes

There are actually two Autoharmonic Reed Pipes for this quest. Here’s the correct setup for them:

  • Pipe #1: The soundboard needs to be centered on the middle note.
  • Pipe #2: This soundboard needs to be lined up with the third note.

Once you’ve got both pipes playing the right tune, you’ll see a short scene and get your Blank Score!
