There are alot of theories going around that Gojo will return in the next chapter, but is JJK suppose to end on a happy ending? I don’t think Gojo will return and Yuta will live in his body rent free as the third condition was, he won’t be able to return to his original body. Since his connection to Rika has ended, he is stuck in that body permanently
I highly doubt that Gojo is going to return, I think it was Maki who said “You bastard” in the last panel as Yuta scared her and she thought he is going to die but he didn’t.
I think somehow he will end up in his original body but Gojo returning? Does not provide any value to the story, indeed it would satisfy a lot of fans but not the story.
It’s not a matter if he can return or not, it’s a matter of “why he should return”?
The letters pretty much provided closure.
But in theory, he can return, we have seen even after death in JJK the conscious is somehow still there deep down, after Kenjaku took over Geto, on Gojo’s voice he reacted and tried to kill himself.
So in Gojo’s case, if Yuta does move to his original body, maybe maybe Gojo conscious will take over, his body has already recovered anyway.
