The captain of first division makes bold claims that he can kill Kaiju No 8 and other Kaijus solo but is he strong enough? If he fight Kaiju No 8 will he win?

Gen Narumi is strong no doubt even when the task force fought Kaiju No 9, he was able to defeat No 9 beta clone. However, if he fight Kaiju No 8 fully transformed, he cannot win.
Gen Narumi has the ability to look into the future for few seconds because of the weaponized Kaiju No 1. Kaiju No 8 is way too fast and strong. He was able to break through the Kaiju No 2 defense easily when he lost control against Director Isao.
