Pixel Gun 3D just launched on PC, and it’s that awesome classic blocky shooter fun, only bigger and better! But like any new release, sometimes there are a few pesky bugs to work out. One of the annoying ones some players are running into is getting stuck on that loading screen. Bummer, right? Let’s see if we can fix it.

Why Does This Happen?

To be honest, nobody knows for sure yet. New game releases can have weird little glitches as the developers fine-tune things. Luckily, some players have found a solution that seems to be working for a lot of folks.

This fix is surprisingly simple (fingers crossed it works for you, too). Here’s what to do:

  1. On your computer, go to this path: C:\Users”Your_User”\AppData\LocalLow. See a folder called “Pixel Gun Team”? Delete that little troublemaker.
  2. Fully close out of Pixel Gun 3D and Steam. Then start them both up again.

If that worked, awesome! You’re ready to blast blocks and climb those leaderboards. But, if you’re still stuck, here are a few other things to try:

Restart

Yep, just shut down Pixel Gun 3D and restart your whole computer. It’s like hitting the reset button on your brain, and it might clear out whatever’s causing the problem.

Verify Game Files

Steam has a handy tool to check if your game files are in tip-top shape:

  1. Open your Steam Library.
  2. Right-click on Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition and select “Properties”.
  3. Go to the “Local Files” tab.
  4. Click on “Verify integrity of game files…”

This process will check your installed game files and fix any corrupted ones.

Update Your Graphics Drivers

  1. Figure out which graphics card you have (check your computer’s “Device Manager”).
  2. Visit the manufacturer’s website (Nvidia, AMD, or Intel) and search for the latest driver for your card.
  3. Download and install the updated driver.

Delete Pixel Gun’s Cache Files (Already Covered but here in detail)

  1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run window.
  2. Type in: %AppData% and press enter.
  3. Find the “LocalLow” folder, then locate the “Pixel Gun Team” folder and delete it.
  4. Restart Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition.

Final Words

I really hope one of these fixes gets you unstuck. Pixel Gun 3D on PC is a whole lot of fun – huge range of game modes, tons of crazy weapons, and a passionate community. Now get out there and start blasting!
