Winter Lanterns in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree are creatures found in the Abyssal Woods.
The problem with Winter Lanterns is that regular attacks don’t work on them. To take them down, you need to know how to parry their moves.
Once you defeat all six of these creatures, you’ll be rewarded with the Aged One’s Exultation Talisman, which boosts your attack power when Madness is nearby. The exact coordinates of Winter Lanterns are -153.19, 141.8.
In this article, I will guide you on how you can parry Winter Lantern and defeat it to get the talisman.
How To Parry Winter Lantern
As I mentioned above, normal attacks do not work against these creatures. So, you need a shield with parry skill to defeat them.
Buckler Shield is perfect for fighting against Winter Lantern. You can buy the buckler shield from Gatekeeper Gostoc in Godrick’s Arena.
In case you killed Gatekeeper Gostoc, buy it from the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold.
Once you get the Buckler Shield, go back to the Abyssal Woods. Go near the Winter Lantern and let it attack you.
As soon as the creature launches the attack, use the parry skill, it will stun the creature and you will be able to use normal attacks on the Winter Lantern.
Do the exact same thing for all the six Winter Lanterns in the area to get the Aged One’s Exultation Talisman.
