The Shiro Oni Arc is finally done, and Lookism 531 brings us back to our J High students. As I predicted, this new arc seems set to be all about the “battle of kings.” Kitae Kim, the King of Seoul, and Jinrang, the King of Busan, are likely heading for a showdown.
One is Gapryong Kim’s son, and the other is his disciple. Gapryong Kim was once the strongest man in Korea but was murdered, and for years, everyone thought James Lee did it, with Kitae Kim’s help.
James Lee went into hiding after the incident. But later, Eugene shifted the blame onto someone else, clearing James Lee’s name as he helped get the Red Paper from Gun Park.
PTJ made alot of changes to the ART Style and characters in the latest chapter, especially BIG Daniel’s look, his look has been changed completely.
I will start my article with a small recap of the previous chapter and then I will be discussing the latest chapter, Lookism 531.

Lookism 531 kicks off with Zoe waiting for Daniel Park, they are heading back to J High. Zoe asks why Daniel is late, but he brushes it off, still keeping his second body a secret.
At school, Jay, Mira, Zack, and the others welcome them to the new academic year. In class, everyone is shocked Zack is actually studying!
Turns out, he lost a bet, so now he is all about the books and telling others to stop fighting.
Daniel also meets Vasco and Eli Jang. Crystal Choi isn’t there, and Daniel’s worried. After Charles Choi’s suicide, she’s taking a break.
James Lee and Daniel Park Partner up
Big Daniel then receives a message from Diego Kang (James Lee). He invites Daniel to a tailor shop since he is getting a new suit.
James Lee asks Daniel how he feels about Charles Choi’s death, pointing out that Charles was the only one who knew Daniel’s second-body secret.
Daniel, however, doesn’t show regret for the secret. His only regret? Not stopping Charles sooner too many lives were lost because of him.
Daniel then shares a new resolve, act faster to stop evil before it starts. James, though, has bigger plans.
He wants a society free of all evil and offers Daniel a spot by his side. He reveals that although Charles is gone, his influence isn’t. His “seeds” have taken root in Busan, where evil is growing again.
James Lee then reveals that the organization was operating secretly which is why nobody noticed them.
He then explains this organization operates under a guy name Jinrang, who is actually the king of Busan.
He was recently released from Jail. After seeing the photo, Daniel quickly realizes it is the same guy he saw outside the prison after meeting with Gun Park.
Daniel instantly agrees to help James Lee but he won’t become his wingman, he simply wants to take down evil before it acts. He does not want a new Charles Choi in town.
I can’t let there be a new Charles Choi.
Little did he know, that James Lee was manipulating Daniel Park, Kitae Kim was there as well, and he was listening to the conversation.
Since everyone believes James Lee killed Gapryong, the King of Busan will definitely come for him and he needs allies.
A Risky Journey to Busan
Kitae Kim and James Lee have a plan in motion, but the manhwa hasn’t revealed it yet. Daniel on his way back thinks Jinrang.
Daniel calls Zack, Vasco, Jay, and Hudson to come to Busan. Turns out Daniel is in the car with the King of Incheon.
Daniel called 7 of his friends but Jaegyeon Na reveals that 7 won’t be enough against the first generation fighters.
So, Jaegyeon Na called his king buddies as well to join them. They all head to Busan and the chapter ends on a cliffhanger.
Review
Daniel heads to Busan, but James Lee and Kitae Kim are plotting something big behind the scenes.
King of Busan is a threat even for someone like Kitae, so they are trying to take action before Jinrang can make a move.
Since James Lee didn’t reveal his plans to Eugene, his only allies right now are Kitae Kim, Daniel Park, and Jaegyeon Na. Overall the chapter was fun to read, the pacing was fast but the build-up was good.
