What Happened in JJK 270 Spoilers

JJK 270 spoilers begin with Shoko and Megumi at a graveyard near Megumi’s sister’s tombstone. Megumi thanks Shoko, saying he hopes his actions have brought peace to his sister in the afterlife.

However, Shoko surprises him by saying she doesn’t believe in the afterlife, leaving Megumi shocked but he responds sarcastically with, “Right.”

Megumi then gets a call saying that Sukuna’s remnants, which were separated from him, have been absorbed by the Tengen Bridge. Next, Utahime Iori and Yoshinobu Gakuganji are seen standing in front of a barrier.

Gakuganji explains that because Sukuna’s remains were absorbed, they now have some extra time. Utahime says they need to come up with a strategy quickly, but Gakuganji responds that the younger generation needs to take it easy.

Maki explains that while the Culling Games are no longer ongoing, Tokyo is still in chaos due to the public knowledge of Cursed Spirits.

Is Takaba and Kenjaku Alive?

We then see Takaba, who is alive, interacting with a mysterious figure that looks like Kenjaku.

It appears Takaba altered reality to bring out Kenjaku’s comedic side. Some fans think this mysterious figure is just in Takaba’s imagination, and we will likely find out more in the official chapter on September 22.

Hana Wants To Marry Megumi

Higuruma shares that the higher-ups want him to become a full-time sorcerer. Meanwhile, Megumi apologizes to Hana for her losing her arm in battle and says he will be her right arm now.

Hana misunderstands this and asks, “When should we plan the event?” Megumi clarifies, saying he didn’t mean it like that.

A New Case of Cursed Energy Harasser

Kiyotaka Ijichi brings up a new case involving a man named Fukuzawa Souta, whose facial structure has changed, but it turns out it was just his fiancée who was seeing things differently.

Megumi and Yuji take on the case, and Megumi believes it’s unlikely to be a cursed spirit and suspects it’s a Culling Games player who woke up during the game.

Yuji calls it a harassment of cursed energy and says it will be easy for the three of them to handle.

Review

The upcoming chapter is expected to focus on Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara dealing with this new threat.

JJk 270 felt a bit disappointing. After all the big events in the previous chapters, many fans were hoping for more closure, especially about Gojo.

Even though he is gone, a proper farewell or funeral would have been nice. Instead, the chapter focuses on less important scenes.

While it’s good to see some characters alive and recovering, the focus on minor details felt off. It would’ve been better to address the bigger issues or wrap up the main storylines.

Rating: 3 out of 5.
