JJK 254 Spoilers and Raw Scans – Is Kusakabe Really Dead?

JJK 254 leaks are finally here. Remember officially chapter will release on Sunday, 24th March 2024. Just like usual prominent leakers on Twitter have already leaked the entire chapter on Social Media.

Chapter 253 left us on a major cliffhanger: Maki’s down for the count, and Kusakabe is the last sorcerer standing against Sukuna.

JJK 254 Full Chapter Explained

Kusakabe didn’t wait much, JJK 254 started with Kusakabe using New Shadow Style Simple Domain: Evening Moon Sword Drawing. Sukuna then sends slashes towards Kusakabe, he didn’t even consider Kusakabe a worthy opponent. However, Kusakabe managed to brush them all off because of his simple domain.

Sukuna then praises Kusakabe that his reflexes are good. After this, Sukuna activated his Cursed Technique and sent more slashes towards Kusakabe who managed to barely evade the previous slashes.

Flashback – Everyone Praising Kusakabe

Flashback starts again just like in JJK 253, everyone is praising Kusakabe Nanami named him an expert swordsman and Mei Mei calls him a useful man. Gojo, the goat, also praises Kusakabe in this flashback that he can activate a simple domain without any binding vow.

Back To Sukuna vs Kusakabe

POV changes back to Sukuna vs Kusakabe, our grade-1 sorcerer realizes Sukuna is going to use World Cutting Slash and expands his simple domain range.

Sukuna is shocked by seeing the range of Kusakabe’s simple domain, as he was not expecting much from Kusakabe. Kusakabe then starts attacking Sukuna using a Barrage Attack.

Kusakabe Sword Broke

After so many attacks from Kusakabe’s side his katana breaks, he then removes his coat and starts fighting bare-handed. Kusakabe then sends Sukuna flying using a kick. He then follows Sukuna and asks himself why is he even trying so hard but then realizes he is indebted to Principal Yaga.

Hazy Moon – Simple Domain Technique

Kusakabe then uses Hazy Moon, a technique in his simple domain that takes the shape of his remaining broken katana parts.

Kusakabe Defeated

Kusakabe then rushes towards Sukuna but this time Sukuna was ready and he grabs the sword with just two of his fingers. Then we see Kusakabe lying on the floor with his chest slashed.

Ui Ui arrives to teleport Kusakabe but this time Sukuna was ready for him too, he says you are getting annoying.

Miguel Arrival

Just as Sukuna was about to kill Ui Ui, Miguel arrives to rescue Ui Ui. Sukuna says I do not recognize you. On this, Miguel replies, “You must be living under a rock if you do not recognize me.”

JJK 254 ended with Miguel arriving at the scene and rescuing UI UI.

Final Words – Is Kusakabe Dead?

Well, Kusakabe is on the floor with blood all over his chest and he was slashed by Sukuna. We haven’t seen Kusakabe using RCT so most likely he doesn’t know how to use Reverse Cursed Technique. He cannot heal himself. So most likely it is over for Kusakabe unless UI Ui manages to rescue him and someone else uses RCT on him. However, in my opinion, Kusakabe is dead as Gege is brutal and he does not care about Kusakabe much.

Most likely, Yuji and Yuta will arrive again all healed up and the second round of their battle will begin next chapter JJK 255.
