The Boys Season 4 is basically a redemption Arc for A-Train. He has been helping The Boys behind The Seven’s back. The latest season will consist of 8 episodes and 6 episodes have already been released on Prime. The latest episode has confirmed that the season is likely heading towards A-Train’s death.
In Season 2, he helped take down Stormfront by leaking the information on her to Hughie and Starlight. However, in the latest season, he has become a good guy after he had a long conversation with MM.
He gave the evidence on who killed 3 Hometeamers to The Boys. He also saved Hughie from getting killed by Homelander. In Episode 6, he saved MM after he got a panic attack. When he takes him to the hospital a little kid sees A-Train who smiles at him and A-Train realizes how good it feels to be a hero.
So it is pretty obvious Homelander will find out about A-Train and he will kill A-Train or at least try to kill A-Train. But can he really kill A-Train since he is the fastest man alive in The Boys Universe?
Is A-Train Faster Than Homelander?
A-Train is faster than Homelander when he is on foot but Homelander is faster when he is flying. Homelander has Superman-level durability and is basically invincible. A-Train is the fastest person in The Boys Season 4 just like Flash from the DC Universe.
However, A-Train is much slower than Flash. If it was Flash vs Superman it would have been a whole other case since Flash is on a whole other level because of the speedforce.
A-Train does not have any special abilities other than super speed. Homelander can fly, shoot lasers from his eyes, and has super strength.
Fans are worried for A-Train because of the Episode 8 title Assassination Run. Even if A-Train manages to dodge Homelander hits using super speed.
He can’t run forever. Homelander has more stamina so he will eventually catch up to A-Train. Most likely the Homelander vs A-Train will happen in the last episode of season 4.
I am really hoping for a longer fight between them, I don’t want Homelander to just laser A-Train and kill him. He should be able to damage Homelander a bit but sadly in The Boys universe, A-Train is just too weak to handle Homelander. Even Soldier Boy and Butcher with powers couldn’t hold him with their combined strength.
Final Words
A-Train Redemption Arc seems to have impressed a lot of fans. He is now the only member of The Seven who actually cares about saving people. However, Sister Sage will eventually figure out about A-Train and will tell Homelander.
