What is with these hyperrealistic shooters and bad performance? They come together! I faced low FPS issue on Gray Zone Warfare too and now facing this issue on Bodycam too. I have mid-tier graphics card and processor so I don’t expect to get a constant 60-80 fps on this game but why am I getting 10 FPS? So I searched around and found a solution.
Check Your System
So, before proceeding you need to make sure your system meets the minimum requirements to run his game. Consider upgrading if you are using an old graphics card.
Components | Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|---|
Operating System | Windows 10/11 (64-bit) | Windows 10/11 (64-bit) |
Processor | AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K | AMD Ryzen 7 3800X or Intel Core i7-10700K |
Memory (RAM) | 8 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
Solution
One of the easiest ways to boost your FPS in Bodycam is by enabling FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR).
- Open Bodycam and navigate to the Settings menu.
- Click on the Graphics tab.
- Look for the FSR option and toggle it on.
- You can also adjust the FSR level to fine-tune the balance between performance and visual quality.Â
The visual quality will decrease after enabling FSR but at least I am getting decent FPS now. I am playing this game on Ryzen 5 5600 and RTX 3060. After enabling the FSR, now I am getting 45-60 FPS.
You can also enable to FSR Frame Generation:
- Go to the Graphics settings within Bodycam.
- Toggle on the FSR Frame Generation option.
- Again, you can adjust the level to suit your preferences.
No DLSS
They’re working on integrating NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) but right now there is no DLSS.
Besides enabling FSR, you can tweak the graphics a bit to improve FPS even more. Reduce the texture quality perhaps even lower the resolution, if you are trying to play it at 2K, try lowering it to 1080p. I hope this will be helpful for you.
