How to Change Face in Content Warning
Want a smiley face, a confused stare, or something totally off-the-wall? You can do it! Here’s the basic process:
- Find the TV: It’s upstairs in your house, right as the game starts.
- Interact with It: Press your interact button (usually ‘E’) to bring up the customization screen.
- Choose Your Color: Pick whichever color you’re feeling for your face!
- Get Creative with Text: You can use up to three characters (letters, numbers, or symbols) to make your face. Get creative!
- Tweak and Apply: Use the arrows to make it bigger, smaller, or change how it sits on the screen. Hit “Apply” when you’re happy!
Making Custom Faces (Advanced Editing)
Want to go even wilder with your face creations? You can get more complex by editing your game files! It’s a bit technical, but here is how you can do this:
- Open Content Warning, create a basic face and save, then close the game. This creates the file we need to change.
- Use Windows search, then follow the path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > LandFall Games > Content Warning
- Right-click this file and choose “Modify.” Here’s where you can paste in new custom face codes (there are tons!)
- When you start Content Warning again, your new face should be there.
