Genshin Impact’s version 4.6 update brought a lot of cool stuff, including a whole new area to explore in Fontaine. This is also where you’ll find a powerful new World Boss: the Statue of Marble and Brass. This thing looks intimidating, but take it down and you’ll get a valuable new material called the Fragment of a Golden Melody. You’ll need a bunch of these to level up the new Pyro 5-star character, Arlecchino.

Who is the Legatus Golem?
This boss has another name, the Legatus Golem. It’s basically this huge, ancient statue that guards the ruins of an old kingdom called Remuria. Think of it as a remnant of a forgotten civilization…a very protective remnant!
Where to Find the Statue of Marble and Brass
The good news is, finding this boss isn’t too tricky. Once you work your way through some quests in the area (you’ll need to finish the Prologue Act 3 Archon quest at a minimum), here’s where to look:
- You can open the Adventurer Handbook and go to the “Enemies” tab. This marks world bosses for you on the map.
- Completing that Archon quest should automatically unlock a nearby Teleport Waypoint, making it even easier.
Taking Down the Ancient Guardian
This is a tough boss fight. The Statue starts with a Geo shield. Bring along a strong Claymore user (preferably Geo) to smash through it quickly. The Statue will put up Pyro resonators to boost its attacks. Destroy these as fast as you can with either Electro or Hydro reactions. This also creates an attack opening! Like any World Boss, remember you need 40 Original Resin to claim Fragment of a Golden Memory.
Why You Want Those Fragments
The Fragment of a Golden Melody is the key to leveling up Arlecchino. Now, the bad news: you need a LOT of them (46 to be exact) to get her fully leveled. That means you might be fighting this giant statue a few times!
Final Words
It’s really cool to see Genshin Impact expanding on the lore and the world map like this. The Statue of Marble and Brass isn’t just a cool boss fight – it’s a hint there’s a lot of hidden history waiting to be discovered in Fontaine!
