Soulmask is the latest survival crafting game released in Early Access on Steam just recently. Just like any other game like Soulmask, for example, let’s take Palworld, you can tame animals (Pals in Palworld) to get food and other resources.
You can also use these animals as a mount. So, in this article, I am going to talk about Capybaras specifically, and how you can catch these.
How To Capture Capybaras
Head to your building workshop and craft a medium animal trap using hardwood planks, thatch, and thick rope. I’m mentioning the recipe below.
- 15 Hardwood.
- 5 Planks.
- 20 Thatch.
- 5 Thick Rope.
Capybaras love water, so look for them near rivers or ponds. Baby capybaras are easier to catch. If you see adults nearby, scare them off so they don’t eat your bait.
Place the trap near a baby capybara and put a pumpkin inside as bait. Once the baby capybara goes in, press the ‘E’ key to capture it.
Back at your base go build a capybara pen to give your capybara a place to stay. Use the ‘R’ key to place the capybara inside.
