Needing to move quickly across the vast open world of Gray Zone Warfare, or make a hasty exit when things get too hot? Helicopters are a lifesaver, and it’s thankfully pretty easy to get one to come pick you up.
How to Call a Helicopter
- Hit that Tab key to bring up your tactical map.
- LZs are marked on the map. You can call a helicopter to any of them.
- Click on your desired LZ, and you should see the “Call Transport” option in the upper right corner of the screen. Click that!
The helicopter will take you to whichever LZ you called from. Make sure you choose the right one! Once you’re in the helicopter, you can call that LZ again to be flown back home.
It takes a little time for the chopper to arrive. Be mindful of your surroundings while you wait, as you’re an easy target standing out in the open.
If everyone needs to extract, make sure you’re all at the same LZ when you call it in! If the servers are under heavy load, it might take longer than usual for your helicopter to show up.
