Honkai Star Rail 2.5 was released today. Alot of players face issues like Login Errors on the update day. In this article, I am going to discuss the particular Honkai Star Rail Error Code 1001_3. The error code pops up with a text saying “login error, please try again later”.
This error recovers on its own mostly. However, if it does not, I have some workarounds you can try to fix this issue.

Whitelist Honkai Star Rail

IIS Restart
If you’re playing on a Windows PC, restarting the Internet Information Services (IIS) can help resolve connection issues. To do this, press the Windows key + R, type “inetmgr” and press Enter. In the IIS Manager, right-click on your computer name and select “Restart.”
Disable the Firewall
Similar to antivirus software, your firewall might be blocking Honkai: Star Rail’s connection. Temporarily disabling your firewall can help determine if it’s the cause of the error. Remember to re-enable it afterward for security purposes.
Flush Your DNS
Sometimes, this stored data (called DNS cache) can get outdated and cause problems. Flushing your DNS clears this cache, forcing your computer to get fresh information. Here’s how to do it on Windows:
