Honkai: Star Rail’s latest event, “Vignettes in a Cup“, lets you step behind the bar of the Dreamjolt Hostelry and mix up drinks for thirsty (and sometimes troubled) adventurers. It’s a fun way to snag some Star Jades, Credits, and even a free 4-star character! Let’s dive in!

How to Start the Event

Here’s the requirements to unlock the “Vignettes in a Cup” event:

  • Reach Level 34: This event is geared towards players who’ve made some progress in the game.
  • Finish Penaconia Story Quest: You need to have completed the “Walk Among the Graves” quest.
  • Check Your Travel Log: Once you’ve met the requirements, you might need to manually start the event through your Travel Log.

Morose Monsters

The main storyline of this event is pretty relaxed. Your job is mostly Mixing Drinks. Solving Problems and A Few Choices.

Customers will tell you what flavors they like, and you make a matching drink. Sometimes, customers will have deeper issues you can help with through short conversations or battles. During one quest in the storyline, you’ll need to pick the right doors to progress. Don’t worry, I’ve got the answers for you later in the guide.

Discovering Drink Recipes

The most fun (and rewarding) part of the event is figuring out the 12 hidden drink recipes! There’s an area for experimenting with drinks. See if you can figure out the combination for each drink. I’ve attached a handy table in this guide for when you get stuck! Unlocking drinks gives you Star Jades, Credits, and more.
