Maybe I should just start a YouTube? Nah, I love to write. Sometimes quests in Gray Zone Warfare give you a change of pace from the usual “shoot things, take stuff” missions.

Artisan’s ‘Save the Rebellion‘ task is a prime example., focusing on a peaceful negotiation.

In this task, you need to save the Rebellion, this involves placing the flash drive in the guard house.

How To Complete Save the Rebellion

Head to the Base Camp’s Command Tent and pick up the flash drive Artisan left for you. It’s got a message for the Rebels.

Then go to Lima 2. You will need to use this outpost to deliver the message. The exact location is YBL-1 storage area.

The coordinates for this location are X: 143, and Y: 122. It’s a small building near the outpost’s entrance. Clear out any guards that might be obstructing your path.

Inside the Guardhouse, there’s a notepad on a desk. That’s your target! Interact with it to leave the flash drive.

You can only choose one

There’s an important caveat with this mission: you can either complete “Save the Rebellion” or a different quest called “Rebel Scum” from Handshake (where you kill a bunch of Rebels). Completing one will automatically fail the other.

Completing “Save the Rebellion” gets you rewards from Artisan:

  • The AKMN Assault Rifle
  • Experience & Reputation

Final Words

Artisan doesn’t exactly have a friendly relationship with the Rebels, but even she realizes that wiping them out might not solve the bigger problems in Lamang.

It might even make things worse! By sending a message, she’s hoping to open a dialogue instead of escalating the violence.

I hope you found my guide helpful. I’ve also created several other guides that you might find useful.
