If you’re a Genshin Impact fan who loves exploring, you might have stumbled across the Sea of Bygone Eras in the 4.6 update. Down there, you’ll find some adorable critters called Washer Octopuses – and solving their musical puzzles is way more fun than you might think!
These little guys aren’t your average sea creatures. They come in two colors: blue and orange. The mystery starts when you find a blue octopus floating near some weird, colorful flowers. This is where the puzzle begins!

How To Complete Washer Octopus Puzzle
Your task is to help the orange octopus reach those flowers, called Allochromatic Anemones. But here’s the catch: you have to guide it using your “Symphony” ability (that’s your Elemental Skill!).
There’s a twist! A Wonderchime Flower acts like a spotlight, spinning around to try and catch the orange octopus. You’ll need to time your moves carefully! Once the Wonderchime Flower is looking backwards you need to move the orange octopus.
Hold your Elemental Skill to move the orange octopus, and tap it quickly to make it stop. If you have seen the squid game you are going to understand this mission more accurately.
The Wonderchime Flower will have big, bright yellow eyes when it’s searching. Freeze your octopus friend in place when you see those eyes! You have to do this for all the orange octopus you see in the area.

Beyond being a fun little challenge, completing these puzzles can score you some neat rewards. I mean, who can resist helping out a musical octopus, right?
