Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2 is coming to Netflix in November 2024. The series is a sequel to the original Karate Kid Movies and Season 6 is the final season of the show. It is divided into 3 parts and the first part was released this month.
Lots of changes happened, like Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do, and Eagle Fang joining forces. Kreese is back and managed to coach a new team for the Sekai Taikai that is happening in Spain.
Recap
The first part consisted of five episodes, and it was all about who would actually go to Spain for the tournament from the dojo.
Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso continue to clash over their differing approaches to teaching karate. Demetri and Hawk had a falling out because Hawk did not tell Demetri that he didn’t apply for MIT.
Mike Barnes from Karate Kid 3 was called in to help pick the six fighters who would represent Miyagi-Do in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Kreese fled to South Korea and is trying to revive Cobra Kai. He meets up with Kim Da-Eun from Season 5 and learns that his old sensei is still alive.
Daniel discovers a hidden chest under the floorboards of his dojo containing a passport with a different first name for Miyagi and a newspaper stating Miyagi was involved in an assault and theft.
Kreese tries to recruit Tory for his new team, however she declines. However, after her mother dies, she starts to have second thoughts about fighting for Miyagi Do. At the end of Part 1, we see Tory betraying Miyagi Do and joining Kreese’s team.
What To Expect From Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2
The Sekai Taikai tournament will continue, and we might see who makes it to the semi-finals. There will be more revelations about Miyagi’s past, including his connection to Kim Sun-Young. Parts 2 and 3 will focus entirely on the Sekai Taikai tournament.
Kenny will likely continue down a destructive path again due to him believing Anthony sabotaged him. Devon will feel guilty about sabotaging Kenny.
Most likely Tory will forfeit the fight or won’t fight at full potential against Sam as she will realize fighting with hatred is not the answer to grief.
There are also rumors that Hillary Swank and Jackie Chan might make cameo appearances. Ralph Macchio teased the return of two actors who appeared in the original Karate Kid movies:
I can’t mention names but there might be one or two, Or there are some [people] that have shown up in a smaller capacity that I would like to see in a larger capacity.
Final Words
We have already seen a lot of actors from the original Karate Kid movies in the Cobra Kai show. Macchio claims that the surprises in the upcoming season are going to be next level. From this, a lot of fans assume Hillary Swank will make a cameo.
